EASTHAM — Nauset High’s baseball team (13-4) won three straight games over Dennis-Yarmouth, Martha’s Vineyard, and Wareham in the last week.
Sophomore Jake Doherty had another solid outing, throwing a one-hit 66-pitch complete game against the Dolphins in a 2-0 win. Doherty is 4-1 with 28 strikeouts and a 2.139 ERA in 36 innings pitched.
The Warriors defeated Martha’s Vineyard 11-1 on Friday, followed by a 13-1 shortened game win over Wareham on Monday. Senior Ethan Beer went 2 for 4 with a walk, an RBI double, a two-run triple, and three runs scored, while sophomore Emmet Blatz earned the win, pitching 4 2/3 innings of relief.
The team locked up a postseason berth and is currently 18th in the MIAA Division 3 power rankings.
Nauset girls golf secured a spot at the South Sectionals with a pair of victories over Barnstable and Dennis-Yarmouth. The Warriors beat Barnstable 4-2 at Hyannis Golf Club last Thursday before edging the Dolphins 3.5-2.5 on Tuesday.
The girls lacrosse team was 1-2 with a 20-1 win over Mashpee sandwiched between defeats to Nantucket and Falmouth. They lost 18-6 to Nantucket last Thursday before falling 9-6 to Falmouth on Tuesday.
Senior Sienna Reeves and sophomore Julia Kipperman both eclipsed 100 career goals.
The Warriors, currently ranked 14th, dropped to 8-7 on the season with three games remaining.
Boys lacrosse also went 1-2, with losses to Nantucket and Falmouth on either side of a convincing 21-11 win over Hanover on Saturday. The Whalers swept the season series with a 9-6 win over the Warriors last Thursday; Nauset lost 11-8 to the Clippers on Tuesday.
Senior Riley Meehan tallied nine goals during the three-game stretch and junior Logan Poulin notched eight goals in that same span.
Boys lacrosse (7-8) is ranked fifth with three games to play in the regular season.
The Warriors co-ed sailing team (5-1) swept a regatta against Bishop Stang 5-0 last Thursday at Orleans Yacht Club.
Boys tennis (9-4) went 2-1 ahead of their match on Wednesday against Monomoy. The Warriors had 4-1 victories over Falmouth on Thursday and Wareham on Monday. But Martha’s Vineyard swept Nauset 5-0.
Girls tennis suffered a pair of defeats, losing 5-0 on Friday to Martha’s Vineyard and 4-1 on Monday to Wareham. The Warriors, with a 6-6 record, are battling for a place in the postseason with three matches left in the regular season.
Softball (4-9) dropped a pair of games, an 8-2 loss to Monomoy on Friday and a 16-3 defeat on Monday. The losses were the Warriors’ third and fourth in a row ahead of Wednesday’s game at Falmouth.

Softball: The Warriors have a 4 p.m. home game against Nantucket and will also finish a game that was interrupted on April 1.

Boys tennis: The Warriors host St. John Paul II for a 4 p.m. match to close out the regular season.
Co-ed sailing: Nauset travels to Nantucket for a regatta at Nantucket Community Boating at 4 p.m.
Baseball: The Warriors welcome Bishop Stang for the regular season finale at 4:30 p.m.
Girls lacrosse: Nauset hosts Dennis-Yarmouth in the season finale at 5:30 p.m.
