EASTHAM — Nauset High School’s football and girls soccer teams kept up their winning ways in a rain-plagued week of sports for the Warriors, which included several postponements. The boys soccer team added two victories as well.
The football squad, now 4 and 2 on the season, routed Nantucket 36-6 at home on Friday for their second straight convincing victory. Freshman quarterback Brendan Peno threw two touchdown passes to Isaiah Robinson and also ran for a third. Junior running back Logan Daniel Julien, meanwhile, rushed for two touchdowns.
The Nauset girls soccer team captured the Cape and Islands Atlantic Division title for a third consecutive year by defeating Dennis-Yarmouth 6-0 on Monday. Junior Olivia Avellar scored a second-half hat trick, while senior Emma Easley added a brace, and junior Georgie Orlandella tallied a goal. The Warriors are now 11-1-1 on the season and riding an eight-game winning streak.
The soccer boys easily overcame Bridgewater-Raynham 6-1 last Thursday before dispatching Cardinal Spellman 11-1 on Saturday to post a three-match winning streak. The Warriors were slated to play at home on Tuesday against Martha’s Vineyard, one of only two teams that have defeated them this year.
The Warriors Field Hockey team was held to a 1-1 draw at Dennis-Yarmouth on Saturday after Friday’s game was postponed due to wet field conditions. Monomoy Regional High won Monday’s match 5-1. The Warriors were scheduled to visit Barnstable on Wednesday.
The Nauset volleyball squad struggled in back-to-back 3-0 losses at Nantucket on Friday and at Dennis-Yarmouth on Monday. They were to play Barnstable on Wednesday.

Field Hockey: The team has a game at Sturgis West Charter School at 4 p.m.
Girls Soccer: The Warriors visit Falmouth for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff.
Boys Soccer: The boys face Falmouth under the lights at 6:30 p.m.

Volleyball: Nauset hosts Sturgis West Charter School on Senior Night at 5:30 p.m.
