The festival never ends. Waters Edge Cinema in Provincetown continues to show provocative art house fare online at provincetownfilm.org/cinema. Among the current attractions, the French comic melodrama Sibyl has recently been added. It’s about a psychotherapist turned writer, a film-within-a-film, and sexy, unhinged actors and filmmakers. Directed by Justine Triet, the film stars Virginie Efira (Elle), Adèle Exarchopoulos (Blue Is the Warmest Color), Gaspard Ulliel (Saint Laurent), and Sandra Hüller (Toni Erdmann). Also showing at the virtual Waters Edge: the chess drama Critical Thinking, the rural Italian From the Vine, Werner Herzog’s Nomad, the music documentaries Mr. Soul! and Jazz on a Summer’s Day, and more. Screen when you want for $12, a portion of which helps Waters Edge, a nonprofit cinema owned and operated by the Provincetown Film Society. This event is ongoing.
