While the Wellfleet Public Library meeting room remains closed to the public, the sixth annual Wellfleet Art Exhibit is back, virtually, at wellfleetlibrary.org. “With the crucial limitations of wall space lifted, we opened the exhibit to any artist wishing to include one piece,” says the exhibit announcement.
Highlights include Dancing Girls in the Village, a mixed media piece by Janet Hymowitz; New York 01, 2021, a photograph on aluminum by Grace Hopkins; Desert Rain, a monoprint by Vicky Tomayko; Meditate More, a watercolor and acrylic by Mark Brennan; The Sea Was Roiling, a unique pigment print by Phyllis Ewen; Field and Ruin (Cottage), an ink on Mylar by Elise Kaufman; She Was (Bittersweet), a mixed media collage by Sasha Chavchavadze; Color Circles, a monotype with collage by Hanni Woodbury; Sprung, mixed media on paper by Bert Yarborough; Spectacle Pond, a photograph by Lew Schwartz; SAND.SEA.SKY, an encaustic by Janet Lesniak; and Aquatic Quartet, a monoprint by Maura Ghedini.
