The Meeting House Chamber Music Festival celebrates its 47th season this year. The premiere will be a concert with world-renowned Romanian violinist Irina Muresanu, accompanied by pianist Donald Enos, on Friday, June 25th at 7:30 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 204 Monument Road in Orleans. On the program are works by Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson, and John Williams.
Also upcoming: a concert by cellist Amit Peled on Friday, July 2nd; piano trios by Haydn, Pärt, Mendelssohn, and Miguel del Águila on Tuesday, July 6th; works for violin, viola, cello, and piano by Mozart, Shostakovich, Nancy Van de Vate, and Fauré on Monday, July 12th; a concert by violinist Katie Lansdale on Monday, July 19; and an all-Beethoven program on Monday, July 26th.
