The December selection for the Truro Library Book Club is The Greater Journey: Americans in Paris by David McCullough. It tells of famous Americans who spent time in Paris between 1830 and 1900, including pianist Louis Moreau Gottschalk, writers Ralph Waldo Emerson, Nathaniel Hawthorne, and Henry James, and artists Mary Cassatt and John Singer Sargent.
