The fall courses of the Open University of Wellfleet will be offered online via Zoom. Three courses still have openings: “A.R. Gurney’s Literary Dramaturgy,” taught by John Anderson and John Shuman, Thursdays from 2 to 3 p.m. on October 15th, 22nd, and 29th, and November 5th and 12th, for $30; “Contemporary Painting, 1970−2020,” taught by Megan Hinton, Thursdays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on October 29th and November 5th, 12th, 19th, and 25th, for $30; and “The Other R and H: Rodgers and Hart,” taught by Marc Strauss, Wednesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. on October 21st and 28th, and November 4th, 11th, and 18th, for $50. “Austerity and Excess: The Scarlet Letter and The Great Gatsby,” taught by Jan Sidebotham, has been filled.

Love’s Labor’s Found
There will be an outdoor, staged reading of The Love Course, by A.R. Gurney, directed by John Shuman, at Wellfleet Preservation Hall, 335 Main Street, on Wednesday, October 7th, at 4 p.m. Rain date: October 14th. Bring a blanket or lawn chair.
