The Frying Pan Gallery at 250 Commercial St. in Wellfleet is presenting the show “Coastal Brilliance,” described as “a collective art experience celebrating our waters,” opening Friday, October 16th, and on view through November 1st. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Center for Coastal Studies in Provincetown.
Featured are aerial ocean photographs by shark spotter Wayne Davis, recent paintings by Nancy Jenner, steel sculptures by gallery owner Steve Swain, and ocean-centric work by gallery artists such as Janet Lesniak and Karen Cappotto.
In June 2020, Swain released his latest piece, Right Whale, and 5 percent of sales of each Right Whale and work by other participating artists in “Coastal Brilliance” through November 1st will be donated to CCS.
