Kevin Karl Schneider died peacefully at his home in Provincetown on Oct. 22, 2022. He was 69.
Kevin was born on Jan. 23, 1953 in Plattsburg, N.Y. and graduated from Ludlow High School in 1971. He received his B.A. from Hartwick College in Oneonta, N.Y. and an M.B.A. from Suffolk University in Boston. He worked in retail, most recently at the Stop & Shop Pharmacy as a technician.
Kevin had a beautiful voice and a kind spirit. He loved Provincetown, singing in the chorus, walking the beach, playing with his cats, and going to the theater. His mother would often take the ferry to join him for plays and bingo. He enjoyed bartending for Cove Gallery receptions.
His brothers and sisters expressed their gratitude to Kevin’s pharmacy family at Stop & Shop, which gave him much support.
He is survived by his brothers, Ron and wife Cara of Ludlow, Randy of Arlington, Tenn., Keith of Mount Vernon, Wash., Jon of Ludlow, Lee James of Longmont, Colo., and Stephen Max of Sandwich; and his sisters, Liane and husband Larry Biron of Wellfleet and Linda and husband John Harrington of Flower Mound, Texas. He also leaves 21 nieces and nephews.
Kevin was predeceased by his parents, Doris and Leland Schneider, and his niece Lisa of West Springfield.
In lieu of flowers, donations may go to the Carrie A. Seaman Animal Shelter in Provincetown, whose staff kindly took care of Kevin’s cats.
