Robert Jones Jr.’s debut novel, The Prophets, is the love story of two enslaved men on a Mississippi plantation in the antebellum South. Critics have praised the book’s raw authenticity, reminiscent of the writing of Toni Morrison, Ta-Nehisi Coates, and James Baldwin.
On Wednesday, March 17th at 6 p.m., Jones will participate in an hour-long virtual author talk with Karen Dukess as part of a monthly series from Truro Center of the Arts at Castle Hill. You can register for a Zoom link at castlehill.org. for free, though donations are appreciated.
