The Animal Rescue League of Boston started its first Cape Cod shelter on Snail Road in Provincetown over 100 years ago, before eventually making Brewster its permanent home on the Cape, says Kim Roderiques. That’s what piqued her interest in producing Dogs of Province Lands, a collection of photos featuring the town’s beloved mascots. Roderiques lives in Chatham and is a longtime Animal Rescue League volunteer. She is donating her photographs for the book, which is supported by sponsorships; proceeds will benefit the League in Brewster. In the photo above is Patrick Otton’s 10-year-old goldendoodle, Sky, at Race Point Beach.
