As a benefit for the AOK Wellfleet Artist Retreat, Marc Strauss is hosting “Despite the Racism:African-American Dance Artistry on Film,” a course of five Zoom sessions on Wednesdays at 7pm. in September. The first is this coming Wednesday, September 2nd. Strauss will introduce rare and popular excerpts of Black dance performers throughout cinema history and lead a discussion.
