Autumn Wallace’s current exhibit at Gaa Gallery, “How to Hug Yourself: 10 Steps (With Pictures),” is based on wikiHow, a website known for its illustrated, simplified how-to guides. The paintings and sculptures in the exhibit explore “rebirth, baptism, fortune-telling, penmanship, sadism, and altruism” as well as “human sexuality, gender, kinship, and caregiving,” according to a press release. It will be on display, alongside work by Dani ReStack, through June 28th at 494 Commercial St. in Provincetown. The gallery is open Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and by appointment.
