Jeanne Elizabeth (Peck) Davis of Truro died on March 10, 2025 at Cape Cod Hospital, surrounded by loved ones. She was 86.

Born on March 26, 1938 in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth A. (Spier) and David W. Peck. Jeanne was raised and educated in Enfield, Conn. and went on to study at Bay Path University in Springfield.
Having spent many summers as a child at her grandparents’ cottage in Truro, Jeanne followed her love of Cape Cod and settled here permanently in the 1950s. She worked for Duarte Insurance for more than 30 years and was a member of the Truro EMT & Rescue Squad.
She loved the birds and animals in her yard, gardening, boating, and skiing in New Hampshire. Jeanne is missed by family and many friends who lovingly referred to her as “the Bat,” a nickname given to her by Punchy Prada many years ago for reasons unknown.
Jeanne is survived by her husband of 49 years, Brian Davis; her daughters, Cheryl Costa and husband David, Debra Locke and husband Mike, and Samantha Perry; and her son, Scott Perry, all of Truro; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Molly, Michael, Andrew, Diana, and Brandon; and her great-grandchildren, Remi, Isabella, Myla, Everett, and Dahila.
She was predeceased by her son David Perry.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the Wellfleet United Methodist Church, 246 Main St. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Truro.
