A celebration of the life of Buddy Perkel, who died at 94 on March 22, will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at the Provincetown Art Association and Museum, 460 Commercial St.
Buddy and wife Marla, who died in January 2023, moved from New York City to Wellfleet in 2002 and then lived in Truro and Provincetown. They were active in civic affairs and as patrons of the arts. Buddy had served on the boards of PAAM and other local arts organizations.
Because parking at the museum is limited, those attending the celebration should leave extra time to find places to park.
