Provincetown native Paul Tasha, who romped through the town’s back woods, fished its waters, and built one-of-a-kind homes and cottages from salvaged wood, died last week after a long illness. He was 71.
He is survived by a large extended family and a community of people who live in homes he built in the East End. Memorial plans have not yet been announced.
An appreciation of Tasha’s life by columnist Dennis Minsky appears in this week’s edition. A full obituary will appear in the Independent at a later date.
