A memorial service for poet and teacher Hilde Oleson, who died on June 19 at 99, will be held this Sunday, Sept. 11 at the Provincetown Theater, 238 Bradford St., from 1 to 3 p.m. Friends and family are welcome. Oleson co-founded the Writer’s Voice Café with Dian Hamilton in 2007; it continued for the next 13 years. “She turned her whole life into a poem, one that welcomed the world in,” said the poet Pat Lombardi in an obituary published in the Independent on July 7.
