A fireworks display in honor of Annie Mahoney of Truro and Cambridge, who would have been 60 years old this week, will take place in Provincetown at 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 24. Annie, the wife of Diana Prideaux-Brune, died on Sept. 15, 2020 in Boston.
Prideaux-Brune said the fireworks will be shot from a barge west of town and would be visible from all over. Permits for the display have been obtained from the Provincetown Fire Dept. and the National Park Service. The family hopes residents will take precautions to prevent their pets from being too upset by the noise.
