A Funeral Mass for Carmela “Millie” Slattery will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8 at St. Peter the Apostle Church in Provincetown. She died at age 90 on Feb. 28, 2021 at the Seashore Pointe Wellness and Rehabilitation Center in Provincetown. Her obituary was published in the Independent on March 18, 2021.
The Funeral Mass will be live-streamed at stpeters.ptown.org. Burial at St. Peter’s Cemetery will follow the services.
Millie moved to Provincetown in 2011 to be near her daughter, Judy Ann Slattery, who owned and operated Wampum etc., a jewelry store on Commercial Street. In Provincetown, she made many friends, was a passionate bridge player, and a member of St. Peter the Apostle Parish.
In addition to her daughter, she is survived by two sisters, Louise Ann Decker and Antoinette Bruno.
