Varujan Boghosian, a towering figure among Provincetown artists, died of complications of a hip fracture at his home in Hanover, N.H., on Monday, Sept. 21, 2020. He was 94. His assemblages of found materials were an inspiration to poets. As the Independent went to press, there was not enough time to prepare a fitting memorial, but one will appear in next week’s edition.
