Paul R. Joseph, 77, known as “PJ,” died in his sleep at Cape Cod Hospital on Dec. 28, 2019. He was 77.
Paul had two children, Patty and Paul, from his first marriage. Paul later married Carmela Bonfini, who brought her five children to his family. He and Carmela lived together for many years in Eastham. Their marriage ended in divorce. He was living in Orleans at the time of his death.
He was loved and known as “Papa” by his many grandchildren. Paul will be dearly missed by them and many others.
Besides his children, Paul is survived by his sister, Patricia Rocha, of Falmouth. He was predeceased by his brothers Arthur, Mott, Phillip, and Francis Joseph and his sisters Helen Davenport and Rosie Morris.
A funeral service will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Church in Provincetown on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to come to a reception after the burial at the Provincetown Commons, 46 Bradford St.
