Combination Stickers Are Back
Last year, the town offered only separate stickers for beaches and the transfer station, but now, the “two-sticker trauma is over,” said Community Services Director Suzanne Grout Thomas.
Combination stickers are back and will be available starting May 29 at the beach office building on the Wellfleet pier from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. They can also be bought on the town’s website beginning May 29. The combination stickers cost $60 for residents for the first vehicle ($45 and $70 for a second and third vehicles). Your 2024 sticker is good through June 30.
Visitors pay depending on length of stay: $70 for 3 days, $150 for a week, $200 for two weeks, and $350 for the full season.
Residents who enjoy trips to the transfer station but not the beach or vice versa needn’t worry: separate stickers for each will also be available. Beach only is $35, and the transfer station only sticker is $25 ($10 and $35 for a second and third car).
There is a $10 entrance fee per visit to the transfer station for those who do not have stickers.
One other change this year: since Jan. 1, a sticker or that $10 visitor fee is also needed for access to the town’s recycling areas and swap shop. —Tyler Jager
