Cloverleaf Closing Complete
After seven years and a series of snafus, Community Housing Resource and the Community Builders on Dec. 27 closed on financing for the Cloverleaf affordable housing development at 22 Highland Road. This followed the allocation of $1.7 million in November and December by the Barnstable County Board of Regional Commissioners to help close the project’s funding gaps and the approval of final documents by the select board on Dec. 10 and Dec. 17. Construction is set to begin in February and is expected to take about two years to complete, according to a statement from the town. More information about the housing lottery process will be available this summer. —Aden Choate
