Shank Painter Planning
The third community planning meeting for the rezoning of Shank Painter Road is on Monday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m.
The meeting will be online only and can be accessed from a special website, www.shankpainterroad.com, or from the calendar on the town’s website.
According to Town Manager Alex Morse’s report to the select board, “there is a strong consensus around creating taller buildings that are more appropriately scaled to the width of the road,” with a focus on “ground floor storefronts and residential dwellings on the upper stories.”
The zoning bylaws developed with feedback from these community workshops will likely be on the warrant at April town meeting. —Paul Benson
