Walsh Committee Interviews
The select board began interviews of candidates for the Walsh Property Advisory Committee at its July 9 meeting. The committee will be a new iteration of the Walsh Property Community Planning Committee, which brought a list of 18 recommendations for the property’s development to the May special town meeting.
Thirteen applicants put their names in for five regular seats and one alternate position on the soon-to-be-convened committee. The select board did not appoint members because one applicant, Jonathon Winder, could not make the meeting.
Four of the applicants — Eileen Breslin, Morgan Clark, Jeffrey Fischer, and Todd Schwebel — were members of the previous Walsh committee.
Other applicants are David Bannard, Lisbeth Chapman, Breon Dunigan, Alexa Elam, Mark Gebhardt, Anne Greenbaum, Cass Johnson, and Chuck Steinman.
The select board plans to conduct final interviews and make appointments at the next meeting on July 23. —Sophie Mann-Shafir
