Budget Q&A
Town Manager Jacqui Beebe, Assistant Town Manager Rich Bienvenue, and Police Chief Adam Bohannon will be on hand at a question-and-answer session set for Monday, April 29 at 4 p.m. at town hall. The session will focus on the town’s fiscal 2025 operating and capital budgets and the two Proposition 2½ overrides voters will consider at the upcoming town meeting. They are for $1,020,000 needed to cover the town’s higher-than-anticipated school budget costs and $300,000 for hiring two new police officers.
Climate Action
The climate action committee is developing a new multi-year plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and their consequences. The committee is collecting Eastham residents’ views about what can be done. Their survey is at tinyurl.com/EasthamSurvey. —Olivia Oldham
