Eversource Committee
The Outer Cape Climate Action Committee, which comprises representatives from Truro, Wellfleet, Eastham, and Orleans, will hold an online meeting, Planning for Our Electric Future, on Oct. 3 at 4:30 p.m.
Eversource will take up questions that the committee and Outer Cape residents have had about current electricity use in the area — and how it varies by hour of day and season — and predicted changes in electricity use over the next few years. Other questions for Eversource were about current and anticipated solar energy production, the committee told the company, because “towns here are trying to understand the state of the grid on the Outer Cape.”
Eversource will also describe its capital improvement plan and anticipated upgrades to its distribution resources.
The Oct. 3 meeting will be virtual, and the Zoom link is posted on the town’s website. The password is “Energy.” —Sophie Mann-Shafir
