Town Hall Is Hiring
Town government is currently hiring for at least 25 different positions, according to the town manager’s office and the town’s online job listing.
Many of the jobs are seasonal, including those at the dept. of public works, MacMillan Pier, the police dept., and the recreation dept.
There are also 11 year-round positions open, including conservation agent, deputy housing director, assistant director of tourism, assistant library director, and senior project manager at the dept. of public works.
The town is also hiring eight firefighter-paramedics and firefighter-EMTs.
The tourism dept. is reviewing responses to its request for a digital and social media relations contractor. A committee will review the proposals at the end of April. —Paul Benson
