Save Some Minutes for Surveys
November is survey month it seems, as various committees have launched them to gather community perspectives. Three can now be found on the town’s website.
The open space committee has put together a survey that should take 10 to 15 minutes to complete. The members want feedback about existing open space as they work to revise the town’s Open Space and Recreation Plan for the first time since 2015.
The cable and internet access committee survey should take 5 to 10 minutes to fill out. The committee’s primary focus is safety via internet access at beaches and other remote spots. The committee was charged by the select board with overseeing the expansion of broadband internet to all residents and businesses in town.
The library board of trustees has created its own 10-to-15-minute survey to assist the board in crafting its five-year plan, according to the town website.
While the Walsh Property Community Planning Committee members are also planning a survey, it had not yet been launched as of Nov. 8. —Sophie Mann-Shafir
