EASTHAM — Graduation will be held in person this year at Nauset Regional High School. The ceremony, scheduled for Saturday, June 5, will be held outdoors on campus at the turf field, beginning promptly at 4 p.m.
Seating is first-come, first-served, said Wendy Spampinato, the assistant to the principal, and the school’s gates will open at 2:30 p.m. to allow guests time to get situated before the program starts. There is a limit of six guests per student. For those who cannot attend, the graduation will be live-streamed on Lower Cape Television.
The president of the NRHS Class of 2021 is Camille Liska. This year’s valedictorian is Isabelle Nobili, and the salutatorian is Clementine Valtz.
Mask-wearing will be optional. Although masks are no longer required, the school strongly suggests that anyone attending who is not yet fully vaccinated wear a mask to the event.
The rain date for the ceremony is Sunday, June 6 at 1 p.m. The school is prepared to move the event indoors that day if it pours, said Spampinato, but, at press time, the weather report for the weekend promises sun and clouds with temperatures near 70 degrees F. —Teresa Parker
