Covid-19 Update
As of Sept. 1, Provincetown had one active case of Covid-19, 31 cases considered recovered, and one death.
Census Deadline Is Sept. 30
If you have not done so already, the deadline to complete the U.S. Census is Sept. 30.
A complete and accurate count is critical for the region. The results affect community funding and Congressional representation, according to the Provincetown town web page. Funding based on census data goes to the schools, the library, the senior center, health care, roads, housing, child-care services, and transportation. The census count also determines the number of seats each state will have in the U.S. House of Representatives, and it’s used to draw Congressional and state legislative districts.
