Conversation Starters
Covid-19 Update
As of June 8, Provincetown had zero confirmed active cases of coronavirus, one death and 28 additional cases considered recovered.
Planning Board Site Plan Review
Among the applications to be reviewed at this week’s planning board public hearing on June 11 is one from Dave Krohn seeking site plan review by special permit pursuant under the town’s inclusionary bylaw to construct five dwelling units at 66 and 72 West Vine St. The project involves building two septic systems, gravel driveways, and retaining walls, re-aligning fencing, and adding hardscape patios and other landscape improvements, resulting in the moving of more than 750 cubic yards of earth, which will alter the topography from natural grade on the properties.
Pier Corp. to Consider Two Appeals
The Public Pier Corp. meeting on June 11 will include its consideration of two appeals from fishermen who have been reclassified as “limited commercial” rather than full commercial, meaning higher dockage fees. See story on page A7 of this week’s edition.
