Provincetown residents Patrick Lamerson, Curt Sharp, and Johnny Butero (left to right), wait for their turns to be interviewed for perhaps a dozen jobs at Curaleaf on Commercial Street, which will open at the end of the month if it receives final approval from the Cannabis Control Commission. It is expected to be the first retail marijuana shop on the Cape. The pot company, which claims to be the largest in terms of revenue in the world, and whose major shareholders are Russian oligarchs, held a job fair on Jan. 6 to hire its Provincetown staff. According to the company’s Massachusetts president, Patrik Jonsson, the shop in Provincetown will ultimately employ 30 people in a mix of part-time and full-time positions. For the winter, the company is looking for six dispensary and two to three inventory associates, three team leads, and an inventory manager. —K.C. Myers
