The map and sailboat are my interpretations in walnut ink on Quadrangle for Provincetown, Mass., 1972: U.S. Geological Survey. My work is overlaid on Eugene Zhukau’s cyanotype print of “Town and Harbor From Hill, Provincetown, Massachusetts.” The cyanotype itself is a reproduction of a photograph published in the Provincetown Advocate in 1908. More on Zhukau’s collaborations with artists to raise funds for refugees around the globe can be found in this week’s Arts Briefs on page C6.
