Who hung this here I do not know.
He must be from the village, though,
And must have brought along this bag
In case his dog should have to go.
There can’t be many — do the math! —
Who walk their dogs on Whistle Path
And take such care of small details
As to avoid their neighbor’s wrath.
Perhaps he couldn’t live with it:
The masks, the tests, the chill sanit-
izer smeared on every hand,
While our world fills up with shit.
So do not call his deed a crime.
It is a symptom of the time,
And my distaste for dangling waste
Inspired me to drop the dime.
