To the Rescue (Monday, Aug. 11)
At the Center for Coastal Studies Junior MAER Entanglement Responder Program at the SEA Space Marine Discovery Center at Whaler’s Wharf (237 Commercial St., Provincetown) on Monday, Aug 11, 1 p.m., kids ages 6 to 12 will learn about the tools used to free whales and sea turtles trapped in fishing lines and gear; see videos, photos, and tools from real-world disentanglement operations; and try their hand at “rescuing” a whale. $15 ($10 for CCS members).
