Wellfleet Oyster Alliance presents low-tide shellfish farm walking tours visiting some of the 108 aquaculture operations in Wellfleet on Saturday, July 12, 7 a.m.; Sunday, July 13, 7:30 a.m.; and Tuesday, July 15, 9 a.m. Tours last approximately one hour; meeting locations will be sent to registered participants. Feeling Froggy (Saturday, July 12)
Artist Jennifer Stratton celebrates all things froggy with a morning of frog-themed crafts at Truro Public Library (7 Standish Way) on Saturday, July 12, 10:30 a.m. Families can then participate in the Frog and Toad Together StoryWalk, which introduces kids to gardening activities on a self-guided walk from the Truro 300 Commemorative Circle to the entrance of the Children’s Community Garden at the library. Thar She Blows! (Monday-Wednesday, July 14-16)
The Center for Coastal Studies presents the first of three summer Whale Camps for kids ages 8-12 at the Hiebert Marine Lab (5 Holway Ave., Provincetown) from Monday, July 14 to Wednesday, July 16. Each three-day program runs from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. daily and includes a trip aboard a Dolphin Fleet whale watch boat. Future programs run Aug. 4-6 and Aug. 11-13.
