Haunt and Jaunt (Thursday-Saturday, Oct. 27-29)
The Crosby Mansion (163 Crosby Lane, Brewster) is transformed into a Halloween Haunted Mansion from Thursday, Oct. 27, to Saturday, Oct. 29. The mansion is full of lore and mystery — and with the help of students from Nauset High School’s drama program will also be full of ghosts, ghouls, and goblins. The experience is for people age 7 and older; children under 12 need adult company. Three one-hour time slots each day, at 5:30, 6:30, and 7:30. The cost is $12 per person. Ghost Stories (Thursday, Oct. 27)
The Eastham Public Library (190 Samoset Road) presents the Spooky Story Slam on Thursday, Oct. 27, 6 p.m. The story entry deadline has passed for tales of the supernatural, the scary, and the downright bone-chilling. The program is for ages 13 and up and is free.
Monster Mash (Friday, Oct. 28)
The Truro Public Library (7 Standish Way) hosts an all-ages Halloween Party on Friday, Oct. 28, 5 to 7 p.m. There will be games, crafts, pumpkin decorating, and music by Stephanie Viva. Costumes are encouraged. The event is free.

Cape Cod Potters will present the 30th Annual Soup Bowls for Hunger event on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod (307 Old Main St., South Yarmouth).
