Bearded Beauty (Friday, August 5)
The Provincetown Brewing Company at 141 Bradford St. will host its second annual Bearded Mistress Pageant on Friday, Aug. 5 at 8 p.m. A drag queen pageant, it includes competition in evening wear, talent, swimwear, and interview categories. The winner, to be chosen by local celebrity judges, receives a $500 cash prize and her likeness featured on one of the PBC’s beer cans. ChicaGo to This (Saturday, August 6 – Sunday, August 7)

Berry Good Jerry-Jam (Saturday, August 6)
Payomet Performing Arts Center in North Truro hosts the Garcia Project for a jam celebrating 12 years of touring the U.S. on Saturday, Aug. 6, 7 p.m. This tour honors Jerry Garcia, who died in 1995 and would have been 80 this year. Walk, Don’t Run (Thursday, August 11)
The Truro Historical Society hosts Dan Haslam’s walking tour of the Highland Historic District on Thursday, Aug. 11, 10 to 11 a.m. Starting on the front porch of the Highland House Museum, 27 Highland Light Road, take a leisurely walk while learning the history of the area. ’aLotto Fun (Thursday, August 11)
Payomet Performing Arts Center hosts the GroovaLottos as part of TD Bank’s Summer Concert Series in a free show on Thursday, Aug. 11, 6:30 p.m. They are a multi-Grammy nominated soul-funk jam band working to promote Black and brown voices in New England music.
