Friends of Herring River presents “Wampanoag Waterways: Herring Are Here!” at Wellfleet Preservation Hall, 335 Main St. During the talk on Thursday, May 5, 5 to 6 p.m., First Light Foundation founder Annawon Weeden will address the importance of herring to the Wampanoag community over thousands of years.
