The opening reception for the FAWC Invitational Group Show will be held at the Hudson D. Walker Gallery of the Fine Arts Work Center at 24 Pearl St. in Provincetown. Free.

The 18th annual WinterFest at Nauset Regional High School at 100 Cable Road in Eastham features concerts, raffles, bake sales, concessions, and a tree sale. Proceeds benefit the music department.

Holiday Craft Fair & Bazaar at Wellfleet Preservation Hall, 335 Main St., will feature over 50 local artisans and craft vendors. Free.

Favorite Poems, read by members of the Wellfleet community, is celebrating its 21st year at Wellfleet Public Library, 55 W. Main St. Refreshments will be served. Free.

It’s the opening reception for an open call art exhibit at The Commons, 46 Bradford St. in Provincetown. Cape artists were invited to submit work no larger than 36 by 36 inches. Free.

Sunday Dec. 8, 1 p.m.
