Pluto is a major player this week as it makes its initial shift from Pisces into Aquarius on March 23. This is a big one. And it is likely to mark a significant cultural change. The last time Pluto was in Aquarius was from 1778 to 1798, a time that saw revolutions in America and France as well as the rise of the Industrial Revolution.
Whatever happens, it’s not just some shakeup of a few banks in Silicon Valley. Economic inequality, climate change, and political power are all going to get hashed up during this time. Pluto will reveal Plutocrats and in a light that might not be so flattering. There will be much to create anew.
There’s a heightened sense of urgency in all this, too, as Saturn shifts from Aquarius into Pisces.
These forces and changes don’t necessarily point to a bleak ending. It’s possible to see this as a creative time and a time of opportunity. Mercury’s conjunction with Jupiter in Aries brings a burst of energy and inspiration, encouraging us to think big and take bold steps.
If there’s a problem, it’s that things take their time. With the planets aligned as they are, we will struggle to persist and be patient. Steady as we go.
