In the tailwinds of the full Moon in Gemini on Dec. 7, you may have noticed it was a rockier lunation than usual. This full Moon was in a tight conjunction with a retrograde Mars.
You might have found yourself longing to pick a proverbial bone. If you got into it, I hope you managed to find a way to do it that didn’t hurt anyone. It’s easy to feel hotheaded when you know that you’re right about something — but ask yourself: is it always worth a fight?
Fortunately, the mood is lightened when Venus and Jupiter come into a square aspect to each other. Normally, a square is a more challenging aspect. But no aspect is too intense for these two planets that love a laissez-faire attitude. Don’t expect to get much done. Just remember that too much of a good thing is no good thing at all.
When on the edge of overindulging, remember that Venus is also shifting into Capricorn, meaning all’s fair in love and work — as long as there’s love for the work. If there’s not, maybe it’s time to rewrite the script on your endeavors and lean into your passions, even as you play.
