Polish your rose-tinted glasses and get out your wands — December begins with the end of dreamweaver Neptune’s six-month retrograde.
That period was about seeing beyond the veils of perception to focus on empirical truths about life and our roles in it. Now that Neptune is stationing direct, we can feel emboldened to superimpose our fantasies on our experiences.
The extra sparkle that is human imagination can be a gift. Just bear in mind that not all that glitters is gold.
Neptune ends its retrograde on Dec. 3, and shortly after that, on Dec. 7, the introspective Moon goes full in grounded Gemini. Gemini and Sagittarius (the sign from which the Sun currently shines) exist on a shared zodiacal axis. But while Gemini is more about logic, Sag is more about expanding the mind. This full Moon invites us to strike a balance between the two.
Keep a firm footing in reality while exploring the magical beyond the mundane. Adventure and fantasy are crucial to the full human experience, but if you wander too far out or cast the wrong spell, it’s easy to get lost in illusions. Keep your wits about you as you dabble in dreams.
Stephen Sondheim had it right in my favorite musical, Into the Woods: “Careful the tale you tell, that is the spell!”
Your horoscopes this week reflect the clarity of this full Moon’s light in the respective houses for your sign.
When reading personal horoscopes, read your Sun sign for the “big picture” and your rising sign for “where the work is.”
