With much ado about nothing and plenty of lamenting by Leos that their “birthday month” is over, the unstoppable Sun slides into Virgo, maiden of the zodiac. Typically depicted holding a bundle of wheat, Virgo’s M.O. is to separate out the chaff — figuratively and literally. Virgo cuts the B.S. better than any other sign with a tough love approach.
Meanwhile, Uranus heads into another retrograde in Taurus until January. Uranus is a “generational” planet — its transits last longer and tend to influence society at large or take a longer time to sink in. The energy of Uranus doesn’t mix easily with status quo-bound Taurus, so this week you may find yourself talking about a revolution.
Keep in mind that true transformation takes place within. And that inner work can lend itself to powerful shifts in the world around us. Maybe this retrograde is a time to rethink what queer spaces should look like.
