This week’s planetary whodunit begins with Uranus in Taurus. The planet of change has been drifting idly in the most material of signs for nearly three and a half years. Shift happens, but in this case, slowly — and with room for much deliberation. When it comes to things like money, substance, and self-worth, we’re being tasked with plowing the fields for a late harvest. The reward will come — just not tomorrow.
Now Pluto kicks off a retrograde season, turning tail in Capricorn. Which means it’s also time to reflect on the most prevalent power dynamics in which you’re entangled. Especially in terms of ambition, career, and authority. It’s a subtle retrograde, so don’t stress — just keep an eye on the advantage and who’s got it.
Closer to home, a second new Moon will come into view this month on the 30th (a phenomenon known as a black Moon — I don’t know who makes this stuff up) and meet up with the Sun for a partial solar eclipse. While Taurus’s no-bull energy will keep us grounded amidst the frenzy, eclipses are known for bringing about sudden shifts and twists — not the best time for setting those new Moon intentions, so be mindful of what’s material and immaterial this week.
Meanwhile, Mercury does move into its home sign of Gemini, so at least you won’t be tongue tied as you try to decipher what any of that means. Though note that a Mercury retrograde looms ahead.
