Happy Halloween, witches and wanderers! This week’s full Moon in Taurus occurs on All Hallow’s Eve. In the ancient traditions of the Celts, the Hindus, and the indigenous peoples of Mexico and Central America, this night is reserved for reverent revelry and for feasting with the spirits. We are now at a point in the endless cycle of form, ruled by Taurus, and transformation, ruled by Scorpio, in which the Sun presides directly opposite the Moon. A full Moon, yes, but also the balancing point between peace and crisis, light and dark.
How coincidental, then, that our national elections should occur at this time. Indeed, to better assist our society’s transformation from one form to another, we should all cast a collective spell. It goes like this: V-O-T-E, followed by a wave of your wand, a dash of fairy dust, and a heaping dollop of social justice. That should do the trick.
