This year’s Cape and Islands League All-Stars for the fall sports season were announced last week. Nauset High was well represented with a total of 30 players on the All-Star and Honorable Mention lists. Three Nauset athletes received Most Valuable Player awards in boys soccer, girls soccer, and girls cross country.
Here is the full list:
Boys soccer: Ben LaBranche, Ethan Boyle, Anthony Lovati, Henry Watson, Will Schiffer, Kelan Warren, and Artie O’Neil were named to the All-Star team.
LaBranche was named league MVP. Nate Watring got an Honorable Mention and O’Neil got an Individual Sportsmanship honor.
Girls soccer: Nauset players Brady Deschamps, Caroline Kennard, Olivia Avellar, Kate Kennard, and Riley Craven made the All-Star list, while Faye Lindberg received Honorable Mention. Hailey Richardson received an Individual Sportsmanship award.
Field hockey: Zoe Bates, Sophie Christopher, and Abby Stevens were named league All-Stars in addition to Tess Taloumis making the Honorable Mention list.
Boys cross country: Finn Riley, Ben Calsson, Jeremiah Pranga, and Will Crowell were named All-Stars. Riley was also named league MVP. Will Mulholland made the Honorable Mention list. Nauset won the Team Sportsmanship award while Matt Dadoly was named to the Individual Sportsmanship list.
Girls cross country: Izzy Nobili, Rachel Pranga, Ella Kelly, and Molly Keigans were named All-Stars, while Nobili also took home co-MVP honors with Ava Bullock of Barnstable.
Makayla Hutchinson was awarded Honorable Mention and Quinn MacDonald made the Individual Sportsmanship list.
Boys golf: Cooper Giuliano and Brady Miller were named All-Stars.
