Longstreet Gallery presents two solo shows running Saturday, May 8th through May 23rd: “Car Wash Nourishment,” by Alex Waggoner, and “Summer Breeze,” by Katherine Dunlap. The gallery, located at 4730B Route 6 in Eastham, is open Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by appointment.
Waggoner, based in Atlanta, Georgia, paints industrial landscapes using bright colors. Dunlap also lives in the South — specifically, Charleston, S.C. — and she, too, uses vibrant hues. But her nostalgic scenes depict pool parties, tropical gardens, and summer homes shaded by palm trees.
