Truro COA Showcases Lisa Morales

Photographer Lisa Morales is having a solo show via the Truro Council on Aging, viewable at lisamorales.com/2020retro through March. Though originally planned as an in-person exhibit, it is now virtual.

The photographs are of quiet Cape Cod, including Orleans, Dennis, and Woods Hole; trips to California and Disneyland before Covid; Black Lives Matter protests; and autumn and winter scenes.

Morales writes in her artist’s statement that her preference is for monochrome images, as her “mind operates primarily in black and white.” She focuses on travel photography, in “an effort to bring the world some semblance of interconnectedness.”
